Back from work, and I have some things I just need to say, for future reference to those ever wanting to go to the movies

  • Know your movie before you go up to the ticket window, it holds up the lines and we don’t always know what movie has so and so in it or what movies good just because we work there
  • we don’t make the ticket prices so please god stop yelling at us about them, it take me two hours of work to pay for one ticket so I KNOW there expensive. 
  • Not all movie theater concession stands are the same, take a minute to read the menu, if it’s not up there we don’t have it. 
  • Our food is as overpriced as Disney Land and we are sorry but we don’t make the prices, and the money most certainly does not come back to us.
  • We have feelings to okay. Were people just like you. 
  • Everyone has an assigned registers when they walk in, and while we have 21 of them, sometimes only two could be open, look for the closed signs before approaching  
  • We check bags now, it’s a thing, for safety, we won’t take your stuff, we won’t judge your stuff, personally we don’t care. Just let us look and be on your way.
  • We also don’t allow outside food and drinks, it varies on theaters but don’t be surprised and while last week you could totally walk in some people don’t like to play russian roulette with there only means of money.
  • IF YOU CAN CARRY THE FOOD ITEMS IN. YOU CAN CARRY THEM OUT. 
  • While yes, we do indeed get paid to clean the theaters, leaving the soda and popcorn bag you bought on the ground with the other 15 people makes it so much more difficult for us, just grab it and toss it when you walk out, we don’t mind if you drop some popcorn on the floor or spill your soda but when you leave all your shit it gets exhausting. 
  • Just keep all this in mind, it’ll make peoples days trust me.
